Sometimes I wish I knew what little girls were made of. It would make my life so much easier!! Being a Mom of two is something I never thought would happen, but here I am married with children. I believe all my years of life experience and training as a therapist had prepared me for motherhood, but I don't think a textbook or a Super Nanny, can really prepare you for what type of parent you will become. Having a 3.5 and 9 month old is the most difficult role I will ever have to face in my life. In many ways I have found, your sanity and rational thinking are challenged on a daily basis. Yet, you seem to find the inner strength you never knew existed and feel emotions you never thought possible. Some days I wish I could make it all go away, other days, I never knew life existed till I had my kids.
